Welcome to The Willow Tree, a nurturing Spanish immersion, play-based home daycare located in North Oakland.

A safe and creative place where little seeds grow!

We are patient, nurturing child care providers who celebrate curiosity and make/create space for children to discover the world around them through play-based learning in a safe, supportive home daycare environment. We have twelve children max allowing for intimate friendships and connections to form. We are RIE and Reggio Emilia inspired—always open to new ideas, learning through art, messy play and outdoor exploration. Healthy meals, story time, and free play are a part of our everyday schedule. 

We respect the individual that each child is and are empathetic to their personal needs. We understand that they are capable of sensing and perceiving at a very early age which is why we take pride in our ability to listen and learn from our children. We want each child to feel personally heard, seen and felt. 

We focus our efforts on building a stable, strong foundation for steady development in areas of behavioral (social), physical (motor), and cognitive (intellectual) skills. Early education along with support, love, and respect are what create a healthy and happy person.
